To answer this, I would say that there are few criteria that help in choosing the best MBBS University in Ukraine. A good medical college would give you high quality education and a valid MBBS degree.
Points to know before choosing a Good Medical University in Ukraine
First and foremost, the university must be WHO recognized and must be listed in MCI. These MCI approved universities are known for quality education. If not, then after coming back to India, student can’t appear for MCI (FMGE) exam.
This is why choosing the medical university, which is at least more than 150 years old.
Like in India, government medical colleges are given more preference, similarly even in Ukraine, there are two types of universities: Government and Private Medical University. Govt. ones are better.
Also note, how many Indian students are studying in a particular university currently and how many of them have passed the degree.
For girls, the parents or the student herself must check if the Ukrainian medical university has the university hostel in the vicinity of the campus. Most importantly, the girls should have separate floors.
There are many fake agents and consultants who give incorrect information stating that girls have different hostels. But the truth is that, majority of medical universities in Ukraine have same hostel for boys and girls, it’s just that the floors are different.

On campus MCI classes should also be considered as this passing the MCI exam in India is important to become the licensed medicine practitioner in India.
Lviv National Medical University, is one of the top and renowned medical college in Ukraine with good MCI pass percentage for Indian students. The medical university also demands good NEET score.
Similarly, Vinnitsa National Medical University and Bogomolets National Medical University are also good to study MBBS in Ukraine for Indian students.
The MBBS programs in Ukrainian Medical Universities are in English medium also. Therefore, it’s easy to understand the course in a better way. However local language classes are also conducted for the first 3 year. It’s because by the time, a student reaches 4th semester, he’s more comfortable with the patients during the clinical training and hospital visits.
