Hello, when you say trusted that means maintaining the transparency with the student and parents.
I am saying this, because there are consultants or Agents who would hide or not tell certain things to the parents and the students, before taking the admissions. And this is also true that there are some problems that are going to happen like the initial adjustment issues, food related issues and any other problem but these problems can be solved and tackled, when it comes to fulfill your dream. For rest of the problem, the consultant must be transparent with the candidate.
Here are few things that most of the consultants do for their students and they MUST do:
- First of all, choose a registered consultant for MBBS abroad education.
- Selecting the university or the country is the student has not decided yet
- Give the required counselling for the university selection
- Tells the pros and cons about the university (Every university has its own merits and demerits so, let the students decide, what he can adjust with and what not)
- Helps you decide a good university based on the student and parent’s budget
- Apply for the Invitation letter
- VISA assistance
- Reasonable processing or consultant fees (this is the main point that tells about how genuine the consultant is) As we’ve seen, there are consultants who will charge a whopping amount for the same services.
(In fact, some can even charge money from parents in the name of scholarship, extra services and what not. Do you guys really think, the university is going to give some super special treatment to such students. No.. right?)
Some would say, their Processing Fees is less but then Air Tickets and VISA service will be excluded. So, Always check the processing fees and what services are included in that amount.
Ensures that the student reaches the university safely and gets adjusted in the hostel allotted. Some paper work will also be done in the university itself.
Here too, there’s a catch, many consultant will tell you the minimum hostel price in the fee structure and show you the images of the expensive hostels. So, here the students can get misguided. So, always ask about the same prior.
The overseas education sector is filled with many fraud agents and consultants but honestly there are some genuine people who really help the students.
