Hello, there are 16 medical universities in Ukraine, which are MCI approved and listed. Out of that 90% of the universities are Government Universities and are approximately 100 years old or over that.
Undoubtedly, Ukrainian medical universities give the quality education and have good infrastructure with well qualified faculties. But when it comes to cheap or affordable medical universities in Ukraine, I would like to inform you that the budget of majority of the universities in Ukraine is similar. And there is not much difference between the tuition fees of each and every university barring few. I will tell you why I am saying that!
Universities like Lviv National Medical University, Vinnitsa National Medical University and Kharkiv National Medical University are the top most medical universities in Ukraine with approx similar tuition fee that ranges from 4800 to 5000 Dollars per year.
While universities like Bukovinian State Medical University, Kiev Medical University and few other are the cheapest Medical Universities with a tuition fee ranging from 4000 $4300 per year.
You will see that, if you choose the cheapest Medical University as compared to the top most University in Ukraine, the total 6 year budget difference would only be from 3 to 4 lakhs.
Therefore, honestly you can go in whichever university that you feel like because majority of the universities in Ukraine or the ones that I have listed above are good universities with good quality education.
But with just difference of 3 to 4 Lakh rupees, when you can get the reputed University, then I would suggest that you go for that until and unless, you really would like to save that extra money or would like to go in the cheapest University due to any reason
Here, I will also disclose few things that a student must take into consideration, while looking at the tuition fee or the overall fee structure. You also have to look at the other expenses, like the cost of living and even the food and hostel expenses.
For example, the universities located in Kiev city, in spite of their low cost tuition fee would have high cost of living because it is located in the Kiev city, which is the capital of Ukraine. So, clearly during the 6 year stay for MBBS course, the cost of living and other expenses can shoot up. So you have to also consider this important parameter
While universities like Lviv National Medical University, which is located in Lviv city, would have reasonable tuition fee but the cost of living would be much lower than a University that is situated in the capital Kiev.
So you also must take a look at this aspect as well while calculating the overall budget and expense before taking the admission. I hope it makes sense.
