KROK 1: Overview and Features

The Conducting Body of KROK exam is Testing Center of Ministry of Health of Ukraine

The minimum Passing Marks for KROK 1 is 121 out of 200

The Passing percentage if 60.5%

Duration of the examination is 200 minutes (3 hours 20 minutes)

There is 1 mark provided for each correct answer

KROK 1: Exam Pattern and Details

As mentioned earlier the exam is held every year. There are a total of 200 multiple choice questions in the KROK 1 exam with duration of 3 hours and 20 minutes. There is only one option for each question and multiple answers are not allowed. There is no negative marking for the incorrect answer. For every correct answer 1 mark is allotted. Candidates can appear for the examination three times and even after the third attempt if the student could not pass the exam, then he’ll be expelled.

KROK examination can be attempted at the most 3 times and after that the university will expel the student citing their unsuitability to pursue to medicine program in Ukraine.

KROK 2

KROK 2 exam is held for the students who’ve completed 6th year. Here the examination is not for promoting as the student has completed his graduation in medicine but for the licensing.

KROK 2: Exam Pattern

This exam as we’ve mentioned is also held is 3 languages like Ukrainian, Russian and English. The duration of KROK 2 exam is 3 hours and 20 minutes, i.e. 200 minutes. There are 200 multiple choice questions.

KROK 2: Results and Details

The minimum pass percentage of KROK 2 exam is 60.5 %, i.e. the candidate has to 121 marks out of 200. Students who are not able to pass the KROK 2 exam, can still appear for the graduate examination, but they won’t be provided the licensing Certificate by the university and the Health Ministry of Ukraine. 

The candidate can give the exam once per year.
